Rookie outfielder Kim Hyun-jong (19) of the LG Twins has been confirmed to the opening day roster.
“We will put him in the opening lineup and let him play for about a month,” LG manager Yoon Kyung-yup said of Kim before the team’s exhibition game against KT at KT Wiz Park in Suwon on Tuesday.
Kim joined the organization as a second-round pick as a rookie this year. He was a top-notch outfielder in high school, and LG plans to develop him into a starting center fielder in the future.
