Professional basketball team Seoul SK has acquired 24-year-old forward Park Min-woo (197 cm) in a trade with Seoul Samsung. In return, the team sent Hong Kyung-ki (35-182 centimeters).

On Aug. 8, SK announced that it had executed a one-for-one trade with Samsung, sending Hong Kyung-gi and acquiring Park Min-woo.

SK plans to develop Park as a future resource. After joining Samsung in 2020, Park completed his military service last month after being discharged from the Korean Armed Forces Athletic Corps.

He made his debut in the 2020-2021 season and is now in his third season. 안전놀이터 He has appeared in three games this season, averaging 3.7 points in 8:33 minutes.

“In response to Samsung’s request for an immediate powerhouse with experience and good shooting ability who can add to the team’s offense, we agreed to the trade to give Hong Kyung-ki more playing time due to the team’s deep bench,” SK said in a statement.

Hong’s three-point shooting and penetrating abilities were not enough to keep him out of the starting lineup due to fierce competition within SK. He only averaged 6:31 minutes in four games.

The trade was a win-win for Samsung, who needed immediate reinforcements, and SK, who wanted future resources.
