Basketball’s biggest star is gone. Jerry West has passed away.

Local media outlets, including ESPN, reported the news of West’s passing on social media on Wednesday (Feb. 12). He was 86 years old.

West, nicknamed “Mr. Clutch,” was a franchise star for the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant. He was the second overall pick in the 1960 NBA Draft and played for the Lakers 온라인카지노 until his retirement after the 1973-1974 season.

West was one of the best shooting guards in NBA history, combining his scoring prowess with his ability to run the offense. Despite playing in an era before the three-point shot, he still managed to score 25,192 points in 932 career games.
