The 2023-2024 season has come to a close with the All-Star break. The V-League has been exciting through the fourth round, with fierce standings battles and back-to-back wins.
The fourth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League men’s game between Samsung Fire and Woori Card at Daejeon Chungmu Gymnasium on April 19 concluded with the match between Pepper Savings Bank and Hyundai E&C at Pepper Stadium at the same time.

Meanwhile, last-place Pepper Savings Bank suffered its 17th consecutive loss. After losing to Korea Expressway Corporation on Nov. 15 last year, Pepper Savings Bank did not add another win for more than two months. The loss to Hyundai E&C tied the club’s single-season record of 17 consecutive losses.
Hyundai E&C dominates, but Heungkuk Ssangmyung keeps up the chase. Foreign player Yelena’s struggles have led to truck protests from fans, but they have Kim Yeon-kyung. Another foreign player, Reina, is doing well, and in the midfield, Kim Soo-ji and Lee Ju-ah are alternating. They are still one of the ‘favorites’.
