The 2023-2024 season has come to a close with the All-Star break. The V-League has been exciting through the fourth round, with fierce standings battles and back-to-back wins.

The fourth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League men’s game between Samsung Fire and Woori Card at Daejeon Chungmu Gymnasium on April 19 concluded with the match between Pepper Savings Bank and Hyundai E&C at Pepper Stadium at the same time.

Samsung Fire defeated leader Woori Card with a set score of 3-2 (28-26, 20-25, 29-27, 16-25, 15-11). After a close full-set match, the team moved back into third place. Woori Kid is still in first place, 안전 토토사이트 but has had a rough start to the fourth round with five straight losses.

Fourth-place OK Financial Group and fifth-place KEPCO are separated by two points, and KEPCO and sixth-place Hyundai Capital are separated by five points.

Leader Hyundai E&C leads the women’s division with a solid performance. The team won the fourth round match against Pepper Savings Bank in the Dodram 2023-2024 V League Women’s Division with a set score of 3-1 (25-9, 29-31, 28-26, 25-19) at Pepper Stadium in Gwangju on April 19.

Meanwhile, last-place Pepper Savings Bank suffered its 17th consecutive loss. After losing to Korea Expressway Corporation on Nov. 15 last year, Pepper Savings Bank did not add another win for more than two months. The loss to Hyundai E&C tied the club’s single-season record of 17 consecutive losses.

Hyundai E&C dominates, but Heungkuk Ssangmyung keeps up the chase. Foreign player Yelena’s struggles have led to truck protests from fans, but they have Kim Yeon-kyung. Another foreign player, Reina, is doing well, and in the midfield, Kim Soo-ji and Lee Ju-ah are alternating. They are still one of the ‘favorites’.

It remains to be seen if GS Caltex’s upward trend will continue after the All-Star break. GS Caltex defeated Heungkuk Saengsim on April 17 with a set score of 3-1. They are in third place with two straight wins. In fourth place is Jungkwanjang. The gap between them and GS Caltex is seven points. Fifth-place IBK is trailing with 33 points.

The standings are subject to change depending on the results of Rounds 5 and 6. The battle for the top spot in the V-League will be even more intense.
